Salisbury and Stevenson in D-3 Tournament

May 03, 2009 |

Stevenson will be making its first trip to the NCAA D-3 men’s lacrosse tournament. The Mustangs will host the winner of a first round game between Cabrini and Montclair State next Saturday in Owings Mills. If they win they play the winner of Salisbury @ Haverford. Yes that’s right we could be in for round three between these two schools. If Salisbury wants to get its sixth title in seven years they will have to do it on the road. The Sea Gulls open up at Haverford. Haverford won the Centennial Conference regular season but lost to Gettysburg in the tournament championship game. If Salisburywins they probably head to Owings Mills where they won 13-5 in the CAC championship game. The south region also features the above mentioned Gettysburg and Roanoke who only has one loss.

Here is a link for the whole tournament.
