Salisbury Wins 15th Straight CAC Title

April 19, 2009 |

The Salisbury University men’s lacrosse team beat #1 Steveson 13-5  on Sunday afternoon. The Sea Gulls scored the only 6 goals of the first half and held on for the win.  Jake DeLillo had 4 goals and one assist. Matt Cannone had 3 goals while Kylor Berkman added 3 assists. This win avenges a 12-8 Stevenson victory in Salisbury two weeks ago that was the first CAC loss ever for Salisbury. Salisbury clinches a NCAA bid with their title.

Stevenson will be off for two weeks before finishing their regular season @ Denison on May 2 in Ohio. Salisbury heads to Chestertown for the annual “War on the Shore” next Saturday @ Washington College.
