Single Eliminination Starts on Sunday @ 1pm

Well folks, two weeks ago I stated that if we went into the bye at 3-3 our season is over.  I still believe that.  With Denver, Cincy, two with Pittsburgh, and Indy yet to play, I think we are toast.  But I am trying desperately to come up with a way to salvage this season.

In my humble opinion the only way I feel that we can still have a chance at making the post season is winning the next three games.  We have to beat Denver on Sunday, go into Cincy next week and beat them.  We then need to go into Cleveland the following week and win there.  Anything short of winning the next three games, and I will be writing the team’s obituary.

Indy comes here on November 15th.  If we are 6-3 at the time then I think we will make the playoffs.  If we are 5-4 or 4-5 or 3-6 well folks put a fork in us because we’ll be done.  So it’s simple we need to take care of business on Sunday.  I predict the Ravens will come out flying at home and win 27-3.

We need to knock Denver off, beat the Bengals in Cincy and win in Cleveland.  If we can accomplish that feat, then I think we’ll be fine.  Anything short of 6-3 by the time we play Indy and we’ll be looking forward to next year’s draft.

54-46-1 Against the spread
