Team Sizzles and roster moves

July 30, 2007 |

When you watch local tv tonight, you will see Terrell Suggs sporting a very  interesting shirt.Suggs was proudly wearing his Under Armour Team Sizzles shirt.

On the front of the shirt is the Under Armour logo with a picture of Suggs doing his patent Darth Vader pose, or as he calls it Darth Sizzle after a sack with  Team Sizzles on it. On the back of the shirt is “undeniable”.

The shirts are not for sale to the public. However if they were, I am sure they would be a big seller.

Under Armour was very prominent with several guys today during camp. Ray Lewis was sporting UA cleats as was Suggs, and many others including Prescott Burgess.

Under Armour cleats are know for the click clack noise that they make, I am sure that was the noise that Willis McGahee was hearing after Prescott Burgess delivered that hard hit during the morning session.

Under Armour has definitely made their impact in the NFL with the amount of guys that are wearing the apparel and especially the shoes. UA is also the sponsor of the Senior Bowl, and are featured prominently on NFL Network.

UA was thought to be a baseball thing early on, but they have made their mark in the NFL, and with guys like Suggs, and Ray Lewis wearing your merchandise can only help.

Mike Smith, Justin Green, Dan Cody, Jonathan Ogden, and Mike Kraclick were all placed on the physically unable to perform list.
