This is a “Light that never goes out”. It’s called “21 Questions”.

September 22, 2010 | Drew Forrester

For some of you, this is the moment you’ve been waiting for.

Or, the moment for which you’ve been waiting.

I’m never quite sure which of those is technically correct.  I’ll dig up my old copy of “Elements of Style” or the new writing bible, “On Writing Well”.  I’ll get the answer there.

In the meantime, though, this IS your moment.

Every other Wednesday I hold court here with something called “21 questions”.

I pick 21 questions because my favorite Oriole is Nick Markakis.

And “21” is the ultimate total in blackjack.

If you go deep into the catalog of The Smiths, you can find 21 great songs and make your own “best of” CD.

It’s time for you to seize the moment and take advantage of this every-other-Wednesday opportunity and ask a question.  Please, though, understand this:  The question has to be good in order to be answered.  I don’t have many rules here, but that’s one of them.  Ask a good question.  Or, a great one.

Off we go.  Thanks for stopping by.  I appreciate you (that’s the new catch-phrase with athletes…).
