Wow, what an enjoyable interview with Tito Ortiz, a great guy with a great attitude. It is clear Tito gets that he is a star in this sport and understands that he is both loved and hated by UFC fans.
To hear about the training that he is going through right now as he gets ready for his fight in July(7-7-07 on PPV as he says), is just sickening. I get tired from driving three miles, let alone running, then doing grappling, boxing, wrestling, weight lifting, and running a business on top of that.
Look for that interview tomorrow, here on the website.
Looking forward to another addition of The Ultimate Fighter tonight, as two more quarterfinal matches will take place on the show. The show will come to an end on June 23rd when the winners will fight it out for a contract, and team coaches BJ Penn and Jens Pulver will also fight on the card. I am picking Joe Lauzon to win. Season 5’s most interesting moment was a couple of weeks back when a couple of the contestant’s got into a fight at the house where they all live. Here is the video of the fight that lead to both guys being kicked off of the show. There was a rumor that UFC President Dana White was going to let these two guys come back and fight in the octagon, but that looks like it is not going to happen. Unfortunately for these two young guys, they may have thrown away the opportunity of a lifetime.
