The Orioles will be taking on the New York Yankees today for a Mother’s Day matinee with first pitch coming at 1:35. It will be the rubber-match of the teams’ three-game set in Baltimore. New York took the opener 4-0 Friday night, but the O’s battled back behind an impressive early performance by the offense in last night’s 12-5 victory.
The two pitchers taking the ball for their respective teams are Koji Uehara for the O’s and Joba Chamberlain for the visiting Yankees.
Koji so far this season owns a 2-3 record through six starts and has posted a very respectable 4.42 ERA. Last Tuesday in Tampa, he took an L when he went 6.2 innings and gave up three earned in a 6-3 Orioles loss.
