Tonight’s Orioles – Rangers Lineups

April 27, 2009 |

Tonight at 7:05 the Orioles and Texas Rangers will meet in the finale of their four-game set at Camden Yards.  The Rangers won the first two of the series on Friday and Saturday, while the Orioles took yesterday’s game, 8-5.  A win for the Birds would even their record at 10-10 overall and make them 4-3 during their current nine-game home stand.

Jeremy Guthrie will take the ball for the O’s, and so far through four starts has a record of 2-1 with a 5.16 ERA.  He’s gone at least six innings in three of his four outings, but has allowed five earned runs in his last two, a no-decision at Boston and a loss to the White Sox five nights ago.

The Rangers will counter with left-hander Matt Harrison, who has struggled mightily in his all three of his starts to begin the ’09 season.  Surrendering five earned over just four innings at Toronto in his last outing escalated his ERA to 9.20, which explains his poor 0-2 record in 3 games.
