Tonight’s Orioles – Rangers Lineups

April 15, 2009 |

The O’s will go for the sweep tonight down in Texas and will try to tally another win on their already impressive 6-2 start to this ’09 season.

They will give the ball to lefty Mark Hendrickson, the winning pitcher in his Orioles and season debut last Friday.  He went 5.1 innings, yielding just 1 earned run, and gave the home town crowd lots to cheer for against the young and formidable Tampa Rays lineup.

Kris Benson, a former Baltimore Bird, will pitch for the Rangers, a team who will be trying to avoid an early season 6-game losing streak.  Benson was the starting hurler for Texas in a 15-2 loss to Detroit last week in what was his first appearance since September 27, 2006.
