The hope is that the Luton game raised spirits enough again for the fans and players alike to focus on the task at hand inside the stadium and not what is going on outside it.
Rafa’s comments this week seem to indicate that he has conceded the league title might be beyond his scope. Riise has insisted, again, that the rest of the squad needs to step up and start stuffing the oppositions’ stockings with gifts from either wing and the midfield. Some help wouldn’t be spurned though, I’m sure.
Martin O’ Neill is carving out quite the season for the midlands squad, currently sitting in 7th with 39 points, only one spot behind us on goal difference. This will be a battle. But aren’t they all.
See you at you know where.
