We all like to occasionally lay a wager, right? Fair enough, here are a bunch of things I’d wager on.
If I wagered, of course.
> I’d bet $100 that the Orioles don’t sign a marquee free agent before December 15.
> I’d bet $200 that the Titans don’t finish the regular season undefeated.
> I’d bet $300 that Tiger Woods wins one of the first three tournaments he plays in 2009.
> I’d bet $400 that the Capitals win at least one playoff series this season.
> I’d bet $500 that this year’s Super Bowl will not be Giants vs. Titans.
> I’d bet $600 that the Phillies won’t repeat as World Series champs in 2009.
> I’d bet $700 that the Redskins will not play in the NFC Championship game in January.
> I’d bet $800 that Alabama and Texas Tech won’t meet in the BCS title game this January.
> I’d bet $900 that all four #1 seeds will not make it to the NCAA Final Four again this March.
> I’d bet $1000 that there won’t be a tie in the NFL in the 2009 or 2010 seasons.
