Where’s Brill?

January 15, 2008 | Drew Forrester

Forget about Jason Garrett for a minute.  Let’s talk about his wife.

All you need to know about the coaching search is THIS:  Brill Garrett left the building around 12 noon (in Dick Cass’ car) with two other women (employees of the Ravens).

It’s now 3:30 pm.  Brill, the other women, and the car, haven’t returned.

A 3 hour lunch?  I don’t think so.

It smells like house hunting to me.  The Garrett’s don’t have any children – according to the Dallas Cowboys Media Guide – so it’s not a “where are the best schools?” search.

But there’s no doubt something’s going on.  While her hubby irons out the details here at the facility, Brill goes out for a look-see around the Owings Mills area.  A high-ranking Ravens official’s wife is a real estate agent, so it won’t be a problem having someone “in the purple family” look after their new prized possession.

I’m not sure what’s going on with Jason here in the building, but I’m pretty sure Brill is somewhere in the vicinity laying the groundwork for a move from Dallas to Baltimore.

Where else could they be?  The Inner Harbor?  Ft. McHenry?  I don’t think so.

I say they’re out canvassing the area.  That’s why the wife came along in the first place, right?  After all, she’ll be in their new house a lot more than her husband, who will spend most of his waking time here at the facility.
