3:45 pm — A publicist for Tiger Woods has issued the following statement:

“Tiger Woods was involved in a minor automobile accident earlier this morning near his home.  He was transported to a local hospital, treated, and released in good condition this afternoon.”

3:40 pm — CNN and CNBC are both reporting that Tiger Woods is “fine” – according to his agent – after an early morning auto accident just outside of his suburban Orlando, FL home.

The Mayor of Windemere, FL (the community where Woods lives) told CNN just moments ago that Woods has been released from the hospital.

Early reports indicated Woods was “seriously” injured in the accident, but within the last 20 minutes or so, word has come from a Twitter report in Woods’ camp that the world’s #1 golfer is “fine”.
