Well an Ivy League School won its first Frozen Four since Harvard did it in 1989. The Yale Bulldogs beat the Quinnipiac Bob Cats last night by the score of 4-0 in Pittsburgh, PA.

Good defense and goaltending were at a premium until 19:56 of the second period. Despite each team having a five on three man advantage in the second period; the score remained 0-0 until very late in the second period. The game was scoreless until Yale scored with 3.5 seconds left. With time running out n the second stanza, it appeared that Quinnipiac gave up on the play and allowed Yale to score.

Yale scored two even strength goals in the third period. Both were bad, very stoppable shots. They then added an empty netter with seven minutes and change left. Quinnipiac was 3-0 this season against their cross town rivals until last night. Both universities reside in Connecticut and are only eight miles apart.
