Any of you semi-old timers (like me) fans of Journey? If so, you absolutely MUST check this out. You might know the story already, but if not, check out these videos/audio clips.
The first one (click here) is a 1983 rendition of “Faithfully” performed by Journey with the great Steve Perry. You have to watch and listen to this for a minute or so just to get a flavor for what transpired recently.
As the story goes, Journey was without a lead singer for a good portion of 2007, until member Neil Schon stumbled upon THIS GUY (here) via the YouTube world. He’s the lead singer of a band in The Phillipines called “The Zoo”.
And now, Arnel is the new lead singer of Journey.
By the way, just to prove it’s not a fluke, here’s The Zoo doing “Don’t Stop Believing'”.
