In 15 lifetime starts he’s only failed to hit the board once, a 4th place effort by one length. He gets hot riding apprentice Yomar Ortiz back in the irons and should once again finish in-the-money as he drops in class.

It’s a beautiful day to go to Opening Day at Old Hilltop. If you have other plans, then make it a point to go on one of the other 27 days. You might actually find yourself having fun. Good Luck!

Big Red, what a horse. Brings back great memories for me. I was a 20 year old junior in college and was fortunate enough to see Big Red in person at both the Preakness and Belmont. His performance in the Belmont is one of the most remarkable athletic peformances I have ever seen. To this day when someone asks me who is the greatest athelete I ever saw, Secretariat is the first name that comes out of my mouth.
