The other night my wife gets Chinese Carryout for dinner. Her and my daughter eat before I arrive home. So I’m the last to eat, then afterwards crack open the fortune cookie that neither of them selected, pull out the the below fortune…

… what are the odds?! But not sure I can follow through with that “but not to excess” part. Well, maybe AFTER Saturday?!
Recapping selections from Day 26 (Sunday, May 13th) had 7 winners (4 Top Selections that paid to WIN… $4.40, $10.40, $13.40 and $17.40) with the $2 Exactas in the 1st ($12.60) 3rd ($38.40), 4th ($7.40), 7th ($13.60) and 9th ($21.00) races; $1 Trifecta in 3rd ($56.90) race; $1 Pick-3 in races 3-5 ($76.30) and 4-6 ($120.30).
The BEST BET (26 10-8-3) was challenged for the early lead as the even money post time favorite, shook off that rival heading into the stretch but could not hold off the late charge on one foe, and settled for the runner-up spot returning $2.40 to PLACE and $2.20 to SHOW. The LONGSHOT PICK (26 2-2-8) lagged far behind in the early going, and put in a mild rally in the stretch, finishing a distant 4th @ 9-1.
