BALTIMORE, MD – Johns Hopkins men’s lacrosse sophomore attackman Ryan Brown is one of 10 players who have been added to the 2014 Tewaaraton Award Watch List, it was announced by the Tewaaraton Foundation. Brown joins teammate Wells Stanwick as Johns Hopkins’ two representatives on the list. Stanwick was on the original Tewaaraton Watch List, which was announced earlier this season.

Brown currently leads the team in goals (23) and points (31) through six games. His goal, assist (8) and point totals already surpass his totals of a year ago (17-4-21) and he ranks second in the nation in goals per game (3.88) and fourth in points per game (5.17).

Brown scored a career-high eight goals against Syracuse and also had an eight-point game (5g, 3a) in Johns Hopkins’ 15-9 win at Princeton earlier this season. The eight goals against the Orange were one shy of the Johns Hopkins single-game record and are tied for the most by a Division I player this season. Brown is the only player in then nation with two, eight-point games to his credit this season.

Brown has four hat tricks, eight multi-point games, five multi-goal games and four games with four or more points to his credit thus far.
