Maryland, Hopkins, Loyola all move up in weekly lacrosse polls

The University of Maryland, Johns Hopkins University and Loyola University Maryland lacrosse teams all moved up in the weekly polls Monday courtesy of weekend victories.

The Terps posted the most impressive victory, topping previous #1 Syracuse 16-8 Saturday in the Carrier Dome. The Blue Jays crushed future Big Ten foe Michigan 14-5 at Homewood Field and Loyola raced past Holy Cross 16-4 in their first ever Patriot League contest.
