Maryland opens lacrosse season by hosting two scrimmages Saturday

COLLEGE PARK, Md. - The University of Maryland men’s lacrosse team will host a pair of scrimmages on Saturday, Jan. 25, beginning at 12:30 p.m. at Capital One Field at Byrd Stadium.

The Terps will begin the afternoon scrimmaging Bucknell and will then take on Towson in a scrimmage scheduled for 2:30 p.m.

Villanova will also take part in scrimmages, playing at the J. Logan and Louise Schutz Football Practice Complex located behind the Varsity Team House off of Stadium Drive. The Wildcats will take on Towson at 12:30 p.m. and Bucknell at 2:30 p.m., respectively.

Admission to the scrimmages is free. Fans attending the Maryland scrimmages can enter Capital One Field at Byrd Stadium through Gate I on the South end of the stadium.

Fans coming to the scrimmages are encouraged to park in Lot 1, which is open to the public on weekends. Parking is Lot R3, which is adjacent to the J. Logan and Louise Schutz Football Practice Complex, is restricted and not open for public parking.
