Men’s Lacrosse Announces Broadcast Schedule; Retrievers Tabbed Third in Preseason Poll

All UMBC home lacrosse games will be streamed live on, a part of the America East Digital Network., now a FREE service, provides a high-definition production, with multiple cameras, a scoreboard clock and graphics, and the full audio play-by-play.

UMBC was picked to finish third out of six teams in the annual America East Coaches’ preseason Poll, as announced by the league office on in Cambridge, Mass. on Wednesday, Feb. 5.

In ten years of America East competition, the Retrievers have never finished lower than tied-for-second place in the regular season standings.
Albany was picked to repeat as champions, garnering five of the six first place votes and 25 votes overall. The other team receiving a first-place vote was Stony Brook, who totaled 21 votes and is projected to finish second.
The Retrievers received 16 votes for a third-place projection, followed by Binghamton and Hartford with 12 and 11 respectively. Vermont rounded out the projections with five votes.
