Today’s Orioles – Angels Lineups

April 29, 2009 |

The Orioles and Angels are back on the field early today for a 12:35 Wednesday matinee at Camden Yards.  The game will conclude a nine-game homestand, one in which the O’s have struggled to a 3-5 record on.  Another loss today would be the fifth in their last six games.

In last night’s series opener Adam Eaton was unspectacular in his fourth start in an O’s uniform and surrendured five earned over five innings and took the loss in a 7-5 decision for the Angels.

Koji Uehara will make the start this afternoon for the Orioles coming off his best start of his brief MLB career.  Five nights ago he went a solid seven innings and held a tough Texas lineup to just two runs.  He’s 2-1 on the year with a 4.56 ERA, so far this season.

Shane Loux will be on the bump today for the Angels as they’ll go for the short road series sweep.  He had a very rocky start in his last turn when he gave up seven earned and 11 hits in only four short innings against the division rival Seattle Mariners.  He’s 0-2 on the year with a 6.61 ERA.
