4. Earl “The Pearl” Monroe

No one is debating Monroe’s greatness as a player-it’s just rough to figure out where he belongs on a list considering he only played four (and part of a fifth) seasons in Baltimore before heading to New York.

Monroe did however claim a Rookie of the Year nod and two All-Star appearances during his brief stint with the Bullets and the excitement he brought was perhaps unparalleled in franchise history. Others have had longer careers with the organization, but perhaps none were more dazzling.
