The 15-7-0 is worth falling 24 miles for

8. Alabama looked good against Missouri, but Christian Jones looked AWESOME.

They’re #1 in the first BCS polls and…they can FLY?

And LaMichael Fanning apparently forgot he WASN’T Kurt Angle…

Oh and also, I support what Missouri fans did…for Breast Cancer Awareness?

Here’s this…

As if Crimson Tide fans needed more to celebrate, let’s check in on Auburn…

So…things are going well for Gene Chizik, no?

9. The end of the Texas A&M/Louisiana Tech game was about as much fun as you can have at 1:30am with your pants on.

This literally WAS like an arcade game in Shreveport…

They have LSU next. My buddy Jonathan Steele is an Aggies fan and likes to post this on Facebook…

“Johnny Football does two things. He chews bubblegum and kicks ass.”

Hopefully no one from Baton Rouge brings bubble gum to Kyle Field next week.

10. Matthew Stafford and the Lions sorta looked like Matthew Stafford and the Lions again.

So we can all enjoy watching Baltimore’s Jim Schwartz celebrate the victory!

ESPN reports the Eagles will release Michael Vick at the end of the season if he doesn’t make the playoffs. So…good luck?

11. Ryan Tannehill is making it difficult to not buy into him.

And he’s got the Miami Dolphins technically tied for first place!

In the loss, St. Louis Rams WR Brandon Gibson did what could only be described as “the coolest thing ever”…

And before we move on, I feel like another look at this hit Sam Bradford took is warranted…

Jeebus.

12. Elsewhere in the state of Maryland, Keenan Reynolds looks like he might well be the real deal for Navy  and Towson showed impressive resolve in beating Maine.

Navy topped Central Michigan on the road after being shown THIS motivational video Thursday night. I’m SO in on these…

The Tigers ended up in a battle with the Bears Saturday night at Unitas Stadium in part because K DJ Soven missed three FG’s. Hell of an effort…

13. You want MACtion? I’ll give you MACtion

Ball State is all over the place on this one…

And then for Ohio…I guess if you’re Mickey Tettleton’s kid you should probably be pretty good at catching…

14. Also from the “demise greatly exaggerated” category, Green Bay looks like they’re just fine.

It really WAS a hell of an effort for Aaron Rodgers and company…

The Packers’ blowout of the Texans looked so effortless that you almost aren’t even all that impressed with awesome TD catches like this one from James Jones…

I really like NFL Network reporter Ian Rapoport. That does NOT mean I didn’t giggle while watching him get hit with a football in pregame warmups for this one…

Also, here’s the GREATEST PICTURE EVER…

The Packers did all of that without Greg Jennings, who I can only assume injured himself in some sort of bed/football/pancake related activity…

15. Perry Hall crushed Eastern Tech a week after crushing Parkville. It’s nice to see you again, “order.”

That is indeed awesome, but there’s awesome elsewhere in High School football this week. In Ohio, Michael Ferns stopped at the 1 yard line so his teammate Logan Thompson (whose father unexpectedly passed away a week ago) could do into the endzone.

And also in Ohio, you’d be lying if you said you didn’t play out this moment in your backyard at some point in your life. Your life just isn’t as cool as these kids’…
