The 15-7-0 is worth falling 24 miles for

The “not so ELITE” 7…

1. Well…so much for that West Virginia national championship stuff.

Okay…but in all honesty, can you swear Eric Ward caught this for a TD?

Dana Holgorsen, how do you feel about these latest developments?

And also, you know you’re having a hell of a day when even your mascot is intimidating Mountaineers players…

And before we leave here, it was hilarious trying to watch Geno Smith drink water…

2. Losing to the Cleveland Browns is not a good way to stay in the AFC North race.

Seriously. This is Brandon Weeden and Josh Gordon you let beat you here…

It’s especially concerning when you remember YOU HAVE AJ GREEN ON YOUR TEAM AND HE CAN DO THIS!

So the Browns won’t go winless! That will be neat for Pat Shurmur to tell his co-workers in whatever line of work he finds here in a few weeks.

3. I mean…at least the 49ers didn’t lose to the Giants in heartbreaking fashion this time.

They DID get a front row view for this EXCELLENT Hakeem Nicks catch though…

At least Eli Manning left a note…

Joe Buck called both the 49ers and Giants games for FOX. I’m so sorry, San Francisco.

4. Did anyone tell Texas that game against Oklahoma was supposed to be kind of a big deal?

I mean, somehow Sooners RB Damien Williams knew…

But yet Longhorns QB Case McCoy perhaps wasn’t told…

I wonder how Mack Brown felt about it?

Also…the game is part of the State Fair of Texas, the same State Fair where “Fried Bacon Cinnamon Roll” was introduced.

I HAVE to live there.

5. You hate that the Stanford-Notre Dame game ended the way it did.

I’ll let you try to figure out what happened…

It probably should have been a touchdown. It wasn’t Notre Dame is still undefeated. I assume that changes at some point, but it’s hard to not pull for Manti Te’o in the meantime.

And also, we DID get to see Lee Corso do THIS on Gameday…

And also, Samantha Steele did THIS with Fighting Irish players during the show…

6. Hey! Does anyone remember when the Arizona Cardinals looked like they might be good?

How in the world did we EVER convince ourselves the Kevin Kolb/John Skelton thing WASN’T an issue?

At least they still have Larry Fitzgerald…

And Jay Feely might have missed the would-be game winner, but he DID kick this nifty 61 yarder before that…

7. Kansas City fans are right. Switching to Brady Quinn made all the difference in the world *ssholes.

Let’s check in to see how Quinn handled his first start in KC…

In fairness, Brady Quinn MIGHT be a better QB than Bucs punter Michael Koenen…

And your “zero” from outside football who deserves to sleep on the roof…

Are you the type of person who watched Felix Baumgartner’s jump from space because you wanted to see something awful happen? You’re a terrible human being.

This was just absolutely incredible.

I’m gonna go ride my bike or something. Holy crap.
