Baltimore Has A New Quarterback…

September 02, 2008 |

So, yesterday, nearly every media outlet had Joey Harrington coming to Baltimore.

Wow, just before I could get over the excitement of having Harrington, I get the news that it isn’t Harrington, but Todd Bouman.

Yes, Todd Bouman. 56% completion, 11 touchdowns and 11 interceptions of Todd Bouman. You can’t see me, but I’m scratching my head, right now.

Bouman hasn’t completed a pass in the NFL since 2005. That year, he had two touchdowns and seven interceptions. His quarterback rating was 54.7. His lowest ever, but also attempted more passes than in any other season.

So, this weekend, we had Chris Simms, 12 touchdowns and 17 interceptions, Harrington, 79 touchdowns and 85 interceptions, and Bouman to choose from. Again, scratching my head…

I’m still holding on to them having a plan that is so smart, that no one else can figure it out.
