I’m rooting for the Falcons, but not tonight …..

Perhaps, he’s the truest staple of the Bill Belichick regime. In his first few months on the job, Dimitroff brought Mike Smith, Matt Ryan and Michael Turner to Atlanta.

How’s that for the trifecta?

In an age when we witness the downtrodden teams often spiraling into an era of misfortune, the Falcons made a solid hiring at GM, and they committed to rebuilding their franchise by adding two of the most important pieces, at quarterback and running back, right away.

Good for them.

I like seeing stories similar to the resurrection of the Atlanta Falcons. They’re solid and respectable. I wouldn’t be surprised to see them in Dallas, in early February.

In fact, I’ll be rooting for them …. after tonight.

A friendly reminder …..

WNST’s Thyrl Nelson will be hosting a viewing party, at High Topps, in Timonium. If you’re looking for a fun venue for tonight’s game, join Thyrl for a Bud Light kinda night.

If you’re staying home, Morning Reaction host, Drew Forrester, will be hosting the PURPLE HAZE chat. You can find all the details at WNST.net …..

And, as always, WNST is providing up to the minute coverage of the game. Nestor and Glenn Clark will be in Atlanta and providing updates all night long.

It’s going to be an exciting evening. Whatever you choose to do, make WNST part of it.
