Ravens Reportedly Still Involved With Boldin

April 25, 2009 | Glenn Clark

While I was busy losing my voice screaming for George Sherrill to throw the final strike that never came tonight, the Ravens and Cardinals were reportedly still considering a trade for Anquan Boldin.

According to this story at ESPN.com; Pedro Gomez and Sal Paolantonio are combining their efforts to report that:

A-The Cardinals and Titans never had an agreement regarding Boldin
B-The Ravens and Eagles are still interested in Boldin
C-The Cardinals have come down from their initial demands and are now willing to accept a 2nd round pick and other considerations for Boldin

Here’s my best guest, based on information Drew shared the other day after his meeting with the Ravens….

Should the Ravens be able to select Brandon Pettigrew in the first round, I believe they will consider trading their 2nd round pick and Todd Heap to the Cards for Anquan Boldin.

Again, that’s my best guess. But it is safe to assume the discussions are still alive.

Remember, Chris Bonetti and I will be live on-air tomorrow afternoon on AM1570 WNST (and streaming live on WNST.net) starting just after 3 and going until the Ravens make their pick, if not after.
