Road win,, Finally!

October 19, 2008 |

Turn back the clock to October 7th, 2007.  That’s the last time the Ravens walked off a field on the road with a win.  The 7 game road losing skid is over!  27-13 Ravens.

By far, this was their best win of the season.  Great gameplan.  Great execution.  Coach Harbs had his team ready to play.

Terrell Suggs  -who had his first career TD on a 44 yard INT-   said it best, “this was a team win”.  The D shut down the Dolphins running game (43 yards between Ronnie Brown & Ricky Williams).

The offense put together several long drives.  Joe Flacco  -232 yads, TD-  didn’t just manage the offense, he led it.  McGahee went over 100 yards.  Cam Cameron got some redemption in Miami.

No one likes to leave the sun of south Florida, but you have to imagine the flight north on the team plane will be pretty festive.

As far as Mr McAlister.  He was only in for a couple of plays.  Coach Harbaugh explained it was the packages the defense was in that kept him out and it was good to give Chris a rest from his knee (although he says McAlister isn’t hurt).  He was NOT put on the bench for discipline reasons.  C-Mac had no comment.  Are you buying it from Coach??  Something to watch this week at practice.
