“The Reality Check” Week 9 NFL Power Rankings

Ryan Chell’s Rankings…

32. Jacksonville Jaguars (0-8; LW-32)

Is London still excited to have them?

31. Tampa Bay Buccaneers (0-8; LW-31)

Mike Glennon might actually be a QB.

30. Minnesota Vikings (1-6; LW-30)

Their QB carousel continues…

29. Philadelphia Eagles (3-5; LW-19)

Their offense is on life support…

28. St. Louis Rams (3-5; LW-29)

Robert Quinn might actually be a player for them…he already is!

27. Washington Redskins (2-5; LW-26)

RGIII gets hurt again. What’s new?

26. Atlanta Falcons (2-5; LW-20)

Steven Jackson is DONE…

25. Pittsburgh Steelers (2-5; LW-24)

Oakland Raiders OWN them…

24. Cleveland Browns (3-5; LW-27)

Jason Campbell actually looked good against the best defense in the league…

23. Buffalo Bills (3-5; LW-25)

Thad Lewis flame is dying…

22. New York Giants (2-6, LW-28)

Didn’t really look impressive against Philadelphia, but might be righting the ship.

21. Houston Texans (2-5; LW-18)

We’ll see what Case Keenum can do in game #2, but they are way too banged up to be competitive…

20. Oakland Raiders (3-4; LW-23)

Terrelle Pryor might still be running…

19. Miami Dolphins (3-4; LW-16)

Falling apart…

18. Tennessee Titans (3-4; LW-18)

Don’t count them out…

17. New York Jets (4-4; LW-14)

Need to avoid a collapse to save Rex Ryan’s job…

16. Baltimore Ravens (3-4; LW-15)

Missed an opportunity to improve at the trade deadline…

15. Carolina Panthers (4-3; LW-22)

Their defense has been impressive…

14. Arizona Cardinals (4-4; LW-21)

Would be wise to give Andre Ellington the job…

13. Dallas Cowboys (4-4; LW-13)

Should have just put all 11 guys on Calvin Johnson the final drive of the game. He probably would have still caught the ball though…

12. Chicago Bears (4-3; LW-12)

Bigger loss? Jay Cutler or Lance Briggs?

11. San Diego Chargers (4-3; LW-11)

Need Ryan Mathews to get going…

10. Detroit Lions (5-3; LW-10)

Their practice every day should be four hours of throwing to Calvin Johnson.

9. New England Patriots (6-2, LW-7)

It’s hilarious that they have looked suspect SINCE Gronkowski came back…

8.  Cincinnati Bengals (6-2; LW-8)

If Andy Dalton keeps this up, holy hell…I’m scared.

7. Green Bay Packers (5-2; LW-9)

Eddie Lacy makes this team a much more dangerous one…

6. San Francisco 49ers (6-2; LW-6)

Beating teams easily, but not sexy either.

5. Indianapolis Colts (5-2; LW-5)

We’ll see how they do in their first action since Reggie Wayne’s injury…

4. New Orleans Saints (6-1; LW-4)

Jimmy Graham looked okay Sunday with a torn ligament in his foot…

3. Seattle Seahawks (7-1; LW-3)

A vulnerable team on the road…just ask St. Louis.

2. Denver Broncos (7-1; LW-2)

Their defense might be back, which could be scary…

1. Kansas City Chiefs (8-0; LW-1)

Cleveland gave them a run, but ultimately they pulled out…

Flexing my mic muscles since 1983…

Steelers at number 23? Really? I bleed Black and Gold, wear a Jack Lambert jersey for every Steelers Sunday, believe that Noll, Bradhsaw, Lambert, Greene, and Harris should be on Mt. Rushmore, and even I would not put the Steelers that high.

It is a crazy year in the NFL when Houston, Atlanta, Pittsburgh, and the NY Giants are all in the bottom 10 of most peoples’ Power Rankings. Why, if this upheaval in sports keeps up, the Pirates and the Orioles will be playing game 6 of the 2014 World Series at this time next year…
