Yesterday, as the medical staff attended to Dawan Landry on the field of M&T Bank Stadium, players from the Ravens and the Browns looked on in concern.

Ray Lewis gathered players near him to pray, and Joshua Cribbs looked on in disbelief.

This has become a familiar scene in the NFL. While players grow bigger, stronger, and faster, the risk of injury becomes more prevalent.

However, as Landry was carted off the field, future uncertain, the remaining players prepared to continue with the game.

On the sideline, “Next Man Up” was the mindset of the reserves and both team carried on with the same aggression as before.
