Chris Davis bashed the Orioles to victory in Friday’s 6-4 Orioles win. The unique season for Davis continues. He is only the third Major League Player in history to win a major league game as a pitcher and hit three home runs in a game in the same season. Davis’ first home run landed on Eutaw Street, his second Home Run landed in the last row of stands in right center field and his third was seven rows back in left. That’s what I call using the whole field. Even with Davis’ heroics the Orioles still needed Jim Johnson to come in and shut the door in the ninth. Oriole reliever Matt Lindstrom would throw his last pitch as an Oriole that night. He was traded to the Arizona Diamondbacks for Pitcher Joe Saunders on Sunday. Enjoy the ride Oriole fans and don’t forget to tune into “Catch the Buzz” tomorrow. The O’s won twice over the weekend so we will exercise the demons of the 1999 and 2000 Oriole losing seasons.
