Bovada keeps Ravens’ Super Bowl odds at 33/1

“It is not a good sign for the future when any team can be four touchdown underdogs in a game as Jacksonville is this week, but it does make it challenging to post lines for a team like the Jaguars. Looking ahead, it is very doubtful they will be greater than 20 point underdogs again, but it’s not impossible depending on how some of their next games play out. San Francisco in a couple weeks could reach that mark, but the game is being played in London so a few points may be shaved off as it is a neutral field. As of right now, the Jags would not be favored in any game this season. In terms of this weekend’s game against the Broncos, it seems that the huge spread has bettors scared a bit, which we normally see when we post spread upwards of 17 points, but two thirds of anyone who dares touch this game seems to be siding with Denver.”

Bovada gives Wizards 100/1 odds to win NBA title

Posted on 08 October 2013 by WNST Staff

Courtesy of Bovada, (www.Bovada.lv, Twitter: @BovadaLV).

“As MLB is winding down we have seen increased activity on our NBA future odds mainly for the Championship. While Miami is an overwhelming favorite once again for the third straight year entering the season, with such short odds (2/1) we don’t see too much money on them at this point. Teams like the Clippers (Down from 14-1 to 9-1), the Bulls (Down from 10-1 to 8-1) and the Pacers (Down from 12-1 to 10-1) have been getting bet heavily, while a team like the aged Spurs have drifted from 10-1 to 14-1 and are hardly taking any action.”

Bovada moves Ravens’ SB odds to 28/1

Posted on 25 September 2013 by WNST Staff

Courtesy of Bovada, (www.Bovada.lv, Twitter: @BovadaLV).

“Co-Super Bowl favorites going into the season, the 49ers at 1-2 have now seen their odds double up to 12/1, while Denver remains a favorite at 7/2. The Chiefs have been one of the biggest movers with odds cutting in half to 25-1 while the Giants are 75-1. Maybe you would think at 0-3 that the Giants should be a bit higher, but considering the strength (or lack thereof) of that division and if they get a couple wins a row, they could be right back in the mix.”

Bovada drops Ravens Super Bowl odds to 33/1

Posted on 12 September 2013 by WNST Staff

Courtesy of Bovada, (www.Bovada.lv, Twitter: @BovadaLV).

“We have already made a few slight adjustments to our Super Bowl Odds after Week 1. No team has seen a bigger drop in odds than the Philadelphia Eagles going from 50-1 to 28-1 and if they win as 7.5 point favorites at home to the Chargers this Week, I see us moving those odds to under 20-1 and making them legit Super Bowl contenders. In turn, the Steelers, who I was not big on going into the season proved me right last week and after one week are already 50-1 and taking no money.”

“Super Bowl odds have fallen into place with the season a few days away and Denver and San Francisco remain co-favorites at 6-1. The Broncos and 49ers have also taken more money than any other team with Green Bay right behind them at 12-1. The Bears and Cowboys have seen significant action the last couple weeks and have both dropped to 25-1 and at this point are two of the biggest losers for the book.”
