MARQUIS MARSHALL TRANSFERRING FROM TOWSON
Freshman averaged 1.4 points in 25 games during 2013-14 season
TOWSON, Md. – Towson men’s basketball head coach Pat Skerry announced Wednesday that freshman guard Marquis Marshall is leaving the Tigers’ program.
“Marquis informed me today that he is leaving the Towson basketball program and will be looking for another school to continue his college career,” Skerry said. “Marquis is a hardworking kid that played an important role on us winning 25 games this year. We wish him the best of luck moving forward.”
After redshirting the 2012-13 season, the 6-5 Marshall averaged 1.4 points in 25 games this past year. The freshman scored a season-high nine points on 3-for-4 shooting with a pair of triples in a win over Coppin State on January 4.
