SOME QUICK THOUGHTS:
-I talked to some important advisors within Sheila Dixon’s office yesterday; and I think the one important thing I took away from my conversations about the possibility of an MLS team here in Charm City is what it could mean for Baltimore’s potential inclusion in the 2018 U.S. World Cup bid. Having World Cup matches here in Baltimore could mean somewhere in the range of a BILLION dollars, and a soccer stadium/MLS team could go a long way towards proving Baltimore as a viable soccer market.
Talk to you from Owings Mills.
