4. Video Games: Madden NFL 12 available for XBox360/PlayStation3/Wii (Tuesday)

You’re gonna go buy the game, despite the fact that Cleveland Browns RB Peyton Hillis is on the cover. I’d particularly appreciate it if someone would send me a copy myself.

In the meantime, here’s Frank Caliendo doing John Madden for David Letterman. Lot of good here…

3. Preseason NFL: Baltimore Ravens @ Atlanta Falcons (Thursday 8pm from Atlanta live on WBAL11/Comcast SportsNet); NFL Cut Down Day (Saturday live coverage at

I have no idea why anyone would travel for ANY preseason game, but especially the fourth preseason game. That being said, if you’re traveling to Hotlanta for the game I have two suggestions.

One-If you’re traveling via Southwest, you have to fly into Birmingham. If you’re doing that, find the place Nestor Aparicio introduced me to last year, Full Moon Bar-Be-Que. They have something called a “Big Baker.” I’m not REALLY sure what it is, but…

I think I would enjoy that.

2-The original Chick-Fil-A is outside Atlanta (and open 24 hours a day 6 days a week) at a place called the Hapeville Dwarf House. Not only can you get traditional CFA food, you can also get things like this…

2. Auto Racing: IndyCar Series Baltimore Grand Prix (Sunday 2pm from Inner Harbor live on VERSUS), Indy Lights Series (Sunday 12pm from Inner Harbor live on VERSUS); American Le Mans Series Baltimore Grand Prix (Saturday 4:15pm live on; NASCAR AdvoCare 500 (Sunday 7:30pm from Atlanta live on ESPN)

This thing might be awesome, it might be a total flop. Either way, I assume I’ll check it out as I’ll always support something that helps Charm City.

You’re waiting for a sexy picture of Danica Patrick, aren’t you? What the hell else would I supply here?

1. College Football: Miami @ Maryland (Monday 8pm from Byrd Stadium live on ESPN), Morgan State @ Towson (Saturday 7pm from Unitas Stadium live on AM1570 WNST/ SportsNet), Delaware @ Navy (Saturday 3:30pm from Navy-Marine Corps Memorial Stadium live on CBS Sports); Oregon @ LSU (Saturday 8pm from Baton Rouge live on ABC), Boise State vs. Georgia (Saturday 8pm from Atlanta live on ESPN)

They’re pushing for a sellout down in College Park. Not convinced you should go? Perhaps you should ask Terps DL A.J. Francis…

Flexing my mic muscles since 1983…
