Top 10 Baseball Distractions

8. Lingerie Football League: Orlando Fantasy @ Baltimore Charm (Friday 10pm from 1st Mariner Arena live on MTV2); Charm City Roller Girls Playoffs: Nightmare on 95 (Friday-Sunday Du Burns Arena)

I’m not really sure what anyone sees in the LFL…

There’s no way any of those gals could possibly play along the Offensive Line! I have an idea of where they could go to find someone…

I took the easy way out on this one. I’d apologize, but it allows me the opportunity to remind everyone “35-7”. I’m sure you understand.

7. Golf: PGA Tour FedEx Cup Playoffs-BMW Championship (Thursday & Friday 3pm live on Golf Channel Saturday 10am live on Golf Channel 12pm live on NBC Sunday 12pm live on Golf Channel 2pm live on NBC. All golf from Lemont, IL); Champions Tour Songdo IBD Championship (Thursday-Sunday 1am from Songdo, Korea live on Golf Channel); Navistar LPGA Classic (Thursday & Friday 12:30pm Saturday & Sunday 2pm from Prattville, AL live on Golf Channel)

They’re in the playoffs now.

(Apparently they’ve been in the playoffs for a few weeks. I’m surprised they haven’t told anyone.)

The problem for me is that when I saw “BMW Championship” I immediately assumed it was a Boy Meets World Championship.

You can imagine my letdown…

6. Soccer: Canada @ Team USA Women (Saturday 7pm from Kansas City live on Fox Soccer Channel); MLS: DC United @ Seattle Sounders (Saturday 9pm from Seattle live on Comcast SportsNet); College Soccer: Maryland @ UMBC (Tuesday 7pm Retriever Soccer Park); NC State @ Maryland (Friday 7:30pm Ludwig Field)

The only things Canada has ever given us are Pamela Anderson (nice until), Our Lady Peace and Tim Horton’s.

The US of A is responsible for Brooklyn Decker, Kings of Leon and since they’re playing this game in KC…Jack Stack Barbeque.

We of course know what puts the USA (well) over the top in this particular situation. Hope Solo…

5. Pro Wrestling: WWE Night of Champions (Sunday 8pm from Buffalo live on Pay-Per-View)

After being RED HOT this summer thanks to CM Punk (with a SMALL assist to John Cena), WWE has come to a screeching halt in recent weeks because for some inexplicable reason they’ve forced Kevin Nash into an unnecessary storyline, overused Triple H and given the championship belt to the rather forgettable Alberto Del Rio.

The only good news? There’s been a LOT of Eve Torres recently…
