4. Mixed Martial Arts: UFC 140-Jon “Bones” Jones vs. Lyoto Machida (Saturday 9pm from Toronto live on Pay-Per-View)

You should be rooting for Bones, as he’s the younger brother of Baltimore Ravens DL Arthur Jones. And also because he might well be the “baddest man on the face of the planet.”

Here’s Jones offering a shin kick (using VERY LITTLE OF HIS STRENGTH) to comedian Jim Norton on the Opie & Anthony show. I don’t think this is something I would enjoy.

3. College Basketball: Mt. St. Mary’s @ Maryland (Wednesday 8pm from Comcast Center live on; La Salle @ Towson (Wednesday 7pm from Towson Center live on AM1570, UMBC @ Towson (Saturday 7pm Towson Center); Loyola @ George Washington (Wednesday 7pm from Smith Center live on MASN), Loyola @ Mt. St. Mary’s (Saturday 2pm from Emmitsburg live on MASN)

In other college hoops news, Sports Illustrated named Coach K “Sportsman of the Year” (as well as naming Tennessee women’s coach Pat Summitt “Sportswoman of the Year”).

I’m not legally allowed to say anything negative about Mike Krzyzewski since becoming a member of the media, so I’ll simply say something along the lines of “I guess SI forgot Novak Djokovic and Dirk Nowitzki were involved in athletics this year.”

Speaking of the Djoker, I am randomly going to be in Paris next July during the same time Wimbledon is happening. The girlfriend is up for taking the trip to London. All of the wheels are in motion for me to be at Centre Court on Manic Monday.

Except tickets.

Do you people understand? THIS COULD BE MY LIFE…

Well…you know…except for the fact that I’m a dude and all. But the point is…WHO CAN HELP ME WITH TICKETS???? PLEASE!!!!

2. NFL: Indianapolis Colts @ Baltimore Ravens (Sunday 1pm from M&T Bank Stadium live on CBS)

This is the part where I’m supposed to post a video of great Ravens moments in their history against Indy.

So…this is the part where the Ravens do something great against Indy so next year I have a video to post here.

1. College Football: Army/Navy Game (Saturday 2:30pm from FedEx Field live on CBS); 2011 Heisman Trophy Presentation (Saturday 8pm from New York live on ESPN)

And not to end on a downer, but this is a big deal. I LOVE Army/Navy. Saturday is a big deal to me. Don’t understand? Check the trailer for “From Philadelphia to Fallujah”…

Go Mids Saturday.

Flexing my mic muscles since 1983…
