Top 10 Baseball Distractions

4. NHL: Washington Capitals @ Winnipeg Jets (Thursday 8:30pm from Winnipeg live on Comcast SportsNet), Washington Capitals @ Colorado Avalanche (Saturday 9pm from Denver live on Comcast SportsNet)

I get the sense the Caps are playing a little bit better under Dale Hunter. I would check, but I don’t give a crap.

I just saw that former Phoenix Coyotes star Keith Tkachuk is going into the U.S. Hockey Hall of Fame. I used to LOVE playing as Tkachuk in the game NHL Hitz. I also enjoyed playing as Paul Kariya. Oh, and I could find a NHL Hitz picture of Paul Kariya in a Google Image Search.

If you didn’t love NHL Hitz just get out already.

3. College Basketball: Florida International @ Maryland (Wednesday 7:30pm from Comcast Center live on ESPN); Towson @ Coppin State (Wednesday 7:30pm from Coppin State Physical Education Complex live on AM1570 WNST.net); Morgan State @ UMBC (Wednesday 7pm RAC Arena), Rider @ UMBC (Saturday 7pm RAC Arena)

Isiah Thomas is coming to College Park Wednesday night. He’s the coach of the FIU Panthers, and apparently hasn’t screwed up as much in that capacity as he has in other careers.

Except of course the “NBA Player” career. That career was a damn fine career for Zeke.

2. NFL: Baltimore Ravens @ San Diego Chargers (Sunday 8:30pm from San Diego live on NBC)

Have these teams ever gotten together before? I feel like they have, but I just don’t remember. Can someone ask Darren Sproles if the Ravens and Bolts have ever squared off in the past?

Oh that’s right.

1. Pro Wrestling: WWE TLC-Tables, Ladders & Chairs (Sunday 8pm from 1st Mariner Arena live on Pay-Per-View)

They don’t do anything about “TLC” right anymore in Pro Wrestling. But it really used to be awesome. Enjoy Edge & Chritian/Hardy Boys/Dudley Boyz from WrestleMania a few years back…

Spike Dudley represents all that is right about this country.

Flexing my mic muscles since 1983…

Pretty frustrating timing to have the one WWE pay per view this year in Baltimore directly conflict with the Ravens in prime time.
