Top 10 Baseball Distractions

8. Pro Wrestling: TNA Genesis (Sunday 8pm from Orlando live on Pay-Per-View)

Blah blah blah, Glenn posts picture of attractive TNA wrestler Gail Kim, Blah blah blah, I’ve read T10BD before…

7. Golf: PGA Tour Hyundai Tournament of Champions (Friday-Sunday 5:30pm Monday 4pm from Kapalua, Hawaii live on Golf Channel)

Holy hell is it really golf season again? I was just thinking about everything else in the world besides golf the other day.

On a serious note, I had a unique opportunity to chat with TNT essayist Jim Huber last summer around the time of the PGA Championship. If you’d like to take a listen it’s here. Despite the fact that he was clearly talking to an idiot, he was perfect. We lost Jim at the age of 67 Monday. He was incredible and will be missed.

6. Mixed Martial Arts: Strikeforce-Luke Rockhold vs. Keith Jardine (Saturday 10pm from Las Vegas live on Showtime)

I don’t consider myself an MMA expert by any stretch of the imagination, but I have a funny feeling about this fight. I’ll say Jardine has a SLIGHTLY better chance against Rockhold then he did against Stone Cold Steve Austin in the flick “Tactical Force.”

But if he fought SCSA for a Strikeforce belt, I’d still pick the man with “The Stunner.” He’s better than the rest of us.

5. NBA: Washington Wizards @ Orlando Magic (Wednesday 7pm from Orlando live on Comcast SportsNet/NBA TV), New York Knicks @ Washington Wizards (Friday 7pm from Verizon Center live on Comcast SportsNet), Minnesota Timberwolves @ Washington Wizards (Sunday 1pm from Verizon Center live on Comcast SportsNet)

Sure the ‘Zards are winless, but…well…um…at least they’re not Danilo Gallinari?

If anyone knew who Danilo Gallinari was he’d be really embarrassed.
