#WNSTSweet16 – The 16 local athletes who never won a title, but deserved to win one

#12 is former Ravens outside linebacker Jarrett Johnson, who spent nine seasons in Baltimore after his selection in the 4th round of the 2003 college draft.  Perhaps no defensive player contributed more to the Ravens during their years of anemic offensive play without winning a championship.  Johnson left the club after the 2011 season and is currently with the San Diego Chargers.  He is best known for his durability and outstanding leadership qualities; JJ played in a still-Ravens-record 129 consecutive games.

Great list. My only quibble is including Rosie Napravnick. She is entering the prime of her jockey career. Given her familiarity with Pimlico, Belmont and Churchill (where she is based in May and June) she will have many more cracks at a Triple Crown win.
