Drew’s Morning Dish — Fri., Sept. 27

September 27, 2013 | Drew Forrester

My 9th annual charity golf outing is rapidly approaching and I could use your help.  We’ll be at Mountain Branch on Monday, October 14 for a great day of fun, friendship and fund-raising.

The event itself is sold out, so I don’t need any more foursomes.

We have a great putting contest, sponsored by The Hub & C-Ville Bikes.

We’re giving away a gorgeous white Ford Mustang convertible if you make a hole-in-one on the designated hole.

Kenwood Kitchens stepped up to sponsor the event and feed everyone prime rib afterwards.  Yes, you read that right.  No hot dogs or burgers after a long day on the course.  We’re having prime rib thanks to Kenwood Kitchens!

But, I still need help.

And this is where you might come in.

I’m looking for prizes for our golfers.  They need to be in groups of two (2) or four (4), unless you have something of “one” that is really special.  I can always use that for a raffle item.

In general, though, the more prizes, the better.  And, if you have something from your company or place of employment that would serve as a prize for our golfers, I’d be eternally grateful and it would help us raise more money for the Kimmel Cancer Center since any prize that’s donated isn’t a prize we have to purchase.

Special thanks to my friends Dave Scheller and Dave Smearman.  Scheller donated Sears gift cards and Smearman donated gift cards to Palmisano’s of Baldwin.

That gives you the idea.  Anything you have – with a value of at least $20 or more – is valuable to the tournament and helps us raise more money for brain cancer research at the Kimmel Cancer Center.

If you have any questions, feel free to e-mail me at: Drew@wnst.net

To send anything my way that we can use as a prize, just mail it to my attention:

Thanks so much for any help you can give!!!
