COLLEGE PARK, Md. – Maryland men’s basketball head coach Mark Turgeon has announced Thursday the addition of John Auslander and Logan Aronhalt as graduate managers for the 2014-2015 season. Aronhalt and Auslander, who both played basketball at Maryland, join second-year graduate manager Steven Asher.

“John and Logan are two exceptional young men who have bright futures,” Turgeon said. “They were outstanding student-athletes and teammates during their time at Maryland. John and Logan will make a significant impact on our team in our first season in the Big Ten.”

An Academic All-America recipient in 2012, Aronhalt played just one year at Maryland after transferring from Albany. The senior appeared in 38 games, averaging six points per game. A shooting guard, Aronhalt shot 43 percent from beyond the arc and led the Terps with 63 three pointers made.

Auslander played three seasons for the Terrapins from 2011-2014 after transferring from Division III Greensboro College. Teammates leaned on Auslander’s basketball knowledge and the Herndon, Va., became an invaluable leader in Mark Turgeon’s first three years at the helm.
