SOME QUICK THOUGHTS:

-Congratulations to SunTrust Athlete of the Morning Winfield Willis. Willis scored 23 points and brought down 13 rebounds for St. Paul’s in their 61-44 win over Gilman. If you’re looking for good hoops tonight; go see John Carroll play at Aberdeen at 6:45. Devon Sadler and Isaiah Philmore are going to have great showdowns in CAA play at Delaware and Towson respectively; and tonight will be a good preview of that.

-Maryland 75, Georgia Tech 71. I think the Terps are ready for a road win.
-Maine 64, UMBC 57. This is a tough stretch for the depleted Retrievers.
-Hofstra 78, Towson 69. Good teams don’t lose at home.
-Loyola 80, Manhattan 72. The Hounds might now fit in that ‘good team’ argument.
-Morgan State 78, Winston-Salem State 64. What conference is WSSU in?
-South Carolina State 60, Coppin State 51. Again, tough test for the Eagles on the road.

Talk to you later today with thoughts on everything…..

-G
