Maryland 80, Virginia 68.
I actually agree with Gary Williams (Save your jokes). This team is different than last year’s. I really think they have the heart to win tomorrow’s game. I’ll feel really stupid if I’m sitting in John Paul Jones Arena tomorrow and the Terps lose a road trip for the 3rd time since last summer that I’ve made.
As far as Towson, UMBC, and Loyola-I think they’ll combine to win two games in their respective conference tournaments. That being said; they’ll all lose in the first round.
Let’s see what everyone else has to say…..

SOME QUICK THOUGHTS:
-Congratulations to SunTrust Athlete of the Morning Shamika Williams. Williams scored 27 last night for Catonsville in a playoff win over Hereford. Fallston’s Jessica Harlee was in the mix; but Williams called in.
-If this is the end for Matt Stover, he will be missed. He was everything for this franchise for a long time. I hope he will choose to retire instead of going elsewhere.
Lacrosse scores…..
-Loyola 11, Duke 10. Duke didn’t look that bad last Saturday, but the Hounds NEED to get this win to prove they can get over last year’s blowout losses.
-Hopkins 8, Hofstra 6. The Jays proved Tuesday they aren’t as bad as they looked against Princeton.
-Princeton 11, UMBC 7. The Tigers proved they were for real at M&T Bank Stadium.
-Maryland 13, Towson 6. One of these things unfortunately doesn’t belong….
Talk to you tomorrow in Charlottesville.
