Having covered Anquan Boldin for 2 seasons with the Cardinals during my exile to Phoenix; I have made my feelings for “Q” very evident during my time with WNST. I think Anquan is not only an outstanding Wide Receiver, I also think he is a tremendous human being.
Acquiring Anquan Boldin would-in my mind-make the Ravens a legitimate Super Bowl contender again, on par with the Pittsburgh Steelers, New England Patriots, and Indianapolis Colts in the AFC. A first and third round pick does not seem to be an excessive price to pay for him, either.
But if gets much beyond a first and third, I could certainly understand the Ravens choosing to hold on to their picks and trust their ‘process.’
Let’s see what everyone else has to say….

SOME QUICK THOUGHTS:
-Do you think Jeremy Guthrie goes to the hill tonight at Fenway Park thinking “if I don’t win tonight, we might not win again for a week”?
-Navy 11, Hopkins 8. The streak ends Saturday, thanks to a strong performance by Tommy Phelan.
-Maryland 13, Penn 6. If the Terps were to somehow lose in Philadelphia, they’d go right to the NCAA Tournament bubble.
-Loyola 12, Fairfield 6. This SHOULD be a mismatch.
-UMBC 9, Hartford 5. The Retrievers are trying to prove more and more that they are a legitimate Final Four contender. That won’t change this weekend.
-Delaware 8, Towson 6. If Tony Seaman can get his team to turn things around before the end of the season, if will go down as one of his best coaching jobs.
-Salisbury 15, Stevenson 13. No one is beating the Gulls twice in one season.
Talk to you this weekend.
