Here are your weekend picks….
Maryland 23, Duke 13
I don’t care what Eron Riley (and everyone else) says. Maryland is NOT losing a football game to Duke. They’re NOT. I refuse to believe so.
Wake Forest 28, Navy 17
I think losing Ricky Dobbs REALLY hurts the Mids.
Towson 16, Northeastern 6
The Huskies are TERRIBLE. Rob Ambrose’s bunch can’t lose games that are should-win, since there are only a couple on the schedule.
Morgan State 20, Delaware State 12
The Bears are playing REALLY good football right now.
Let’s see what everyone else has to say….

SOME QUICK THOUGHTS:
-John Turner asked that we not discuss anything further, but here is what I can share with you from him….
“It’s gotten WAY too much attention. It’s a message board. Never meant for it to go to the media.
There have been other threads on the same topic and it was never publicized. I should have kept quiet. It’s embarrassing me and my family.”
I’m not gonna bother to go any farther than this. John needs to know that his public comments on a message board are available for ANYONE to see; but he was right to say he “should have kept quiet.”
-I was talking to a NFC Scout yesterday-who played for 10 years as a defensive player in the NFL. He said this to me about the blame everyone through towards Frank Walker in the 2nd half of the loss to the Vikings….
“Blaming Frank Walker for what happened in that game would be akin to blaming a wide receiver for not catching a football that is thrown 2 feet over his head. In those situations, there is nothing else a cornerback can do. The ball is WAY over his head because a play has broken down due to missed assignments and too much time for a CB to throw the ball.”
Talk to you tomorrow.
