Friday Morning’s Crabs and Beer

August 22, 2008 | Glenn Clark

What I want to see tomorrow night is very simple. I want to see Troy Smith play REASONABLY well, as there is no reason why he should struggle against the Rams. I want to see the offensive line show some cohesion; as they need to be ready to go for 9/7 after tomorrow night.

And more than anything, I want to see this team actually score points. I want to know that if necessary, the Ravens can actually drive the field and put points on the board.

I’d like to find proof that John Harbaugh is a real NFL Head Coach as well, but I’m not expecting it just yet.

I’ll say Ravens 23, Rams 10.

Let’s see what everyone else has to say……

SOME QUICK THOUGHTS:

-I’m not sure if I agree with Drew. I actually think Ozzie Newsome SHOULD be on the hot seat; because the Ravens might well need to completely overhaul everything here. I might be wrong, but something tells me the remnants of the Modell era might need to go. If Steve Bisciotti handles the coaching decisions, why is Ozzie still even employed?

-I actually think the Birds will take 2 of 3 from the Yanks this weekend. 5 of you will be there to watch; alongside 60,000 Yankees fans.

Talk to you Monday.
