It’s time to show some appreciation in this week’s #WNSTSweet16

2. Drew Nicholas

It took Drew Forrester two lists to make it all about himself. Maybe this is proof that it only took me two lists as well. Drew Nicholas is one of my all-time favorite Terps because he was a GREAT player who worked his butt off for three years while coming off the bench to help the first ever Final Four and National Championship teams in school history.

When he finally got his chance to start as a senior, he proved just how good he truly was and made some of the biggest shots in school history.

If he’s ranked too high on this list, I don’t care. Drew Nicholas deserves to be appreciated as one of the best players in Maryland history.

Great list. I still say Steve Blake is underrated though. He was always overshadowed by Dixon but really was the glue of the team for his 4 years. I will never forget the steal he had on Jason (Jay) Williams as Williams was getting instructions from Coach K and never saw Blake coming. Also who knew he would go on to have a 10+ year NBA Career and counting? I dont think anyone ever predicted that at the time he was drafted. As you can tell he was probably my All time favorite terp.

agree with the Steve Sheppard suggestion…did you consider Herman Veal?
