It’s time to show some appreciation in this week’s #WNSTSweet16

14. Terrell Stokes

A three year starter at point guard whose point totals made him a forgotten man. But Stokes’ distributing was so good that he ranks fourth on the school’s all time assists list. In fact, his 4.6 assists per game in his career leave him just a tenth of an assist behind John Lucas, who is honored in the rafters in College Park. He currently ranks eighth in school history in steals as well.

He also made some big free throws in his career.

    Great list. I still say Steve Blake is underrated though. He was always overshadowed by Dixon but really was the glue of the team for his 4 years. I will never forget the steal he had on Jason (Jay) Williams as Williams was getting instructions from Coach K and never saw Blake coming. Also who knew he would go on to have a 10+ year NBA Career and counting? I dont think anyone ever predicted that at the time he was drafted. As you can tell he was probably my All time favorite terp.
